When Something You've Held in Your Heart Finally Steps Into the Light

faith life passion May 16, 2025

I’ve been working on something quietly… tucked away behind other responsibilities and behind seasons that weren’t quite ready yet.

And now it’s here.

Humble Hearth

The website is live, and I’m feeling all kinds of emotions — peace, joy, vulnerability… and more butterflies than I expected.

Not the nervous kind that make you want to back out — but the meaningful kind. The kind that show up when something deeply personal finally meets the outside world. The kind you feel when you're about to welcome someone into your home for the very first time.

Before I released it, I found myself wondering — Will they understand what this is really about? Will they feel it the way I do?

Because Humble Hearth isn’t just a website. It’s a place. A soft landing. A space for women — especially women in transition — to breathe, laugh, cry, rest, reconnect, and feel seen again.

And even though I’ve poured everything into this with love and intention, pressing “publish” still felt like holding my breath and saying a little prayer:
Let it find the ones who need it...

So before the next wave of news and posts and retreat announcements begin, I just wanted to sit with you — in this quiet little in-between moment — and say this:

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for caring.
And thank you for letting me share something so close to my heart.

The doors are open now — and you are always, always welcome.

From my heart to yours,

Gail Marie
